Event Details
Pit Plan
Car parking in the field beyond the circuit. Please refrain from parking on the circuit perimeter, leaving this for pitting and gazebos. Please do not secure gazebos to the fence, use pegs/weights as appropriate.
You must provide your own power. Please only place generators in the zone marked by the club.
Event Format, SATURDAY
08:00 - Gates Open
10:00 - 3 rounds of free practice in heat order, rolling starts. Not subject to tech/tyre allocation
A drivers briefing will be held after practice
c13:00 - 3 rounds of rnd by rnd qualifying. Pre-race tech inspection. Best 2 count for the Sat Final
c16:00 - 1 round of final races for 100 drivers championship points
BBQ and fun races after the finals - inc retro electric cars
PLEASE NOTE: Flyers have been distributed to local schools inviting people to come along. There will be a Mini-Z track and inflatable games for entertainment, please welcome any members of the public coming to see our sport, and lend a hand to volunteers helping with the entertainment when you can.
SUNDAY
09:00 - 1 round of free practice in heats, Not subject to tech or tyre allocation
Drivers Briefing
10:30 (ish) - 3 rounds of round by round qualifying. Saturday scores are carried over, giving total of 6 qualy rounds, best 3 scores count for Sunday's triple mains
3 rounds of finals, best 2 scores count for 100 drivers championship points.
TYRE ALLOCATIONS
Each day has the same tyre allocation rule as a normal 1 day KOC event. The allocation starts anew on Sunday. (i.e. for 17.5 Blinky, 2 sets SAT 2 sets SUN, FWD 1 set SAT, 1 set SUN) Tyres don't have to be new.
