Practice List
Saturday
Gates open at 10am.
If you arrive early please stay in your car as it is a residential area.
Open Practice will start at 10.30am to 12.10pm
Controlled practice starts at 12.15 in heat order (Heats and results will be available online via Rc-Results).
There will be four rounds ? 1 x 4 minute and 3 x 5 minute heats, this should take about 72/84 minutes around and will finish at 5.45pm approx.
Cars to be set on the track in the put down area and driven carefully to the red line, so be aware of other cars on the track and no practice/installation laps, Gate will be locked at 6.30pm.
Treat the heat lisying as provisional as there maybe changes needed to be made.
Sunday
Gates open at 7am.
If you arrive early please stay in your car as it is a residential area.
One round of practice in heat order starts at 7.40am - 4 minute heats, cars to be set on the track in the put down area and driven carefully to the red line, so be aware of other cars on the track and no practice/installation laps.
Drivers briefing at 9.00am in the skatepark. First heat on the line at 9.20am.
Four rounds of Qualifying (best 3 to count) and a Final for all with each round taking 1hr 30m.
Concours at the end of Qualfying - approx. 3.20pm.
Finals due to start at 3.45pm.
Trophy presentation at 5.25pm.
Other
Catering - On Sunday we have Really Awesome Coffee, who have a range of hot and cold drinks and food, who did the event last year for us.
Camping- Is available for Saturday night free of charge and the toilet block with be on a combination lock overnight. The gate will be locked overnight.
You will need to bring your own hi-viz jackets and g;oves, masks and hand cleaner are all optional items.
On PT's, the three wire RC4 transponders will not work with our decoder,
The put down area for your cars is at the 180 degree corner parallel to the straight in front of race control by Marshal Point one (The chair).
There are no practice laps and please drive to the line carefully as there will be others putting down their cars and going to/from marshal points
When the race is over the pull-off area is the yellow area behind Marshal Point 1 and wait until the race is called over before moving from your spot on the rostrum.
If you breakdown in the race then remain where you on the rostrum.
The compressor is currently out of service.
Remember you are in a public park, so there are some other rules that apply.
And yes, we are within the ULEZ zone
